Developing school wide expectations for teaching and learning of essential skills I believe that the development of a cohesive and comprehensive scope and sequence of learning skills is essential. Essential learning skills transcend those of individual disciplines and ensure learners have the tools they need to take control of their learning. The development of a scope and sequence of these skills allows for the explicit teaching and development of these skills across the school. |
